EDIT: Oops, the first version I uploaded wasn't my final version, my mistake. It's not terribly different, but for the image I actually went with I upped the contrast a bit and came up with a non-pun name. I kept looking at the old one and thinking I could have sworn I remembered the contrast being higher... Because it was, and it really helps I'd say. And now back to your regularly scheduled rambling text description:

If this seems familiar, yes it's my entry for a Kingdom Hearts Ultimania contest. And if not... It's still a picture of a Dragoon, my favorite Kingdom Hearts monster by far. Though if you're noticing a certain detail isn't quite right, I omitted it because when this was brought to my attention (Curse you catgirlkari!) it knocked my Dragoon fandom down a peg. So, I left it out. If you're wondering what I'm talking about, I suggest you don't pursue the matter further, no one has thought better of dragoons after noticing this relatively subtle but significant detail.

As for the strange color scheme, the rules for the contest I made it for stated that it had to be done in two colors or at most variations of two colors. Now you might argue it's a bunch of colors, but the lines are actually dark purple, and as for the shades of yellow over purple, they were done by applying that one color at varying levels of transparency. Yes it was bending the rules, but rule-bending was encouraged, and many people bent the rules far more than I.

And finally, the whole thing was done in Photoshop. Well, aside from sketching, as I like to draw on paper. But after scanning the sketch, all Photoshop from there.
